$2.65 Million Investment to Create New Jobs

ALLENDALE, S.C. – AKPA Kimya Organic Peroxides and Initiators today announced plans to locate a new distribution and warehousing facility of organic products in Allendale County. The development is projected to bring $2.65 million in capital investment and create 13 new jobs.

AKPA Kimya Organic Peroxides and Initiators was founded in 1997 in Istanbul and specializes in the production of organic peroxide, initiator, accelerator and paint dryers used in the composite, petrochemical and paint sectors.  With a wide range of products in the chemical industry, AKPA Kimya provides fast and short product supply worldwide, including North America, Asia, Europe, Middle East and Africa.

Located at 122 Innovation Drive in Fairfax, S.C., the company’s new distribution facility is expected to come online in the second quarter of 2019.
