Beaufort County is located in the coastal Lowcountry region of South Carolina along Interstate 95. Beaufort County is comprised of the towns of Hilton Head Island, Bluffton, Port Royal and the City of Beaufort.  It is home to the Hilton Head Island Airport (HHH), and easily accessible to the Charleston International Airport (CHS), the Savannah/Hilton Head International  Airpot (SAV), the Port of Charleston, and the Port of Svaannah.  Many successful industries enjoy low operation costs, a business-friendly environment and access to domestic and international markets.  Beaufort County is also home to the Marine Corp Air Station and the Marine Corps Recruit Depot on Parris Island.  Each year 1,000 retiring military personnel exit through Beaufort County.
