Bamberg County is comprised of small towns that are big on manufacturing.  Worldwide manufacturers as diverse as Phoenix Specialty Manufacturing, Delavan and Arnett Engineered Solutions have located large manufacturing operations here. 

In fact, Phoenix Specialty Manufacturing has operated in Bamberg County for more than 50 years, supplies companies such as General Electric Aircraft Engines, and has manufactured parts for the Space Shuttle, the Mars Rover, and the Apollo Moon landing.  

Bamberg County is also home to many small manufacturers in the forest products, agribusiness, and other manufacturing sectors, offering shovel ready sites with easy access to the Ports of Charleston and Savannah.
