Booker Joins Alliance as Project Manager

SouthernCarolina Regional Development Alliance has announced that Darrell P. Booker has joined the regional economic development team as Senior Project Manager, and will begin working with the Alliance on March 28.  

As Senior Project Manager, Booker will work directly with industrial prospects and existing industries in the region to bring economic development projects at all stages to fruition. In addition, Booker will be involved in site location evaluation and marketing and recruitment efforts. He will work directly with local industry and community leaders, economic development commissions, county councils, the S.C. Department of Commerce and other allies. 

Booker will be coming to SCA from Orangeburg County Development Commission where he currently serves as Project Manager. “We are delighted to have Darrell join our regional team,” said SouthernCarolina Alliance President and CEO Danny Black.

A graduate of South University, Booker earned a Master of Business Administration in Finance, and a Bachelor of Science in Corporate Finance, and a Bachelor of Administration in Marketing from the University of South Carolina.
