Mr. Dolton Williams has accepted the staff position of Project Manager with SouthernCarolina Alliance, the regional economic development organization marketing the seven-county region that includes Allendale, Bamberg, Barnwell, Beaufort, Colleton, Hampton and Jasper Counties.

Prior to accepting the position with SCA, Williams worked in marketing and administration with the Union County Economic Development Board, where he worked with prospects, site consultants and state project managers to coordinate industry recruitment visits.  A graduate of the University of South Carolina and the S.C. In his new role as a project manager with SouthernCarolina Alliance, he will work with allies at the local, regional and state levels in industrial recruitment and with existing industries throughout the region on expansion projects.

“Dolton is a great addition to our team of professionals at SCA,” said SouthernCarolina Alliance President and CEO Danny Black.  “We look forward to working with him and welcoming his family to the SCA region.”

A member of the S.C. Economic Developers Association, Williams also served as a member of the Union County Human Resources Association, the County Tourism Board, and as a board member of the County Dixie Youth Baseball and Dixie Girls Softball programs.

Dolton and his wife, Jenny, an attorney, have two children and will reside in the Southern Carolina region of South Carolina.
